We invite you to submit a paper to the Journal of English Teaching through Movies and Media, which will be issued on May 31, 2023, Vol. 24, No. 2.

 

From Vol. 22, No. 2 (International issue), to internationalize and expand the exposure and accessibility of the journal, a journal homepage will be newly established using the international standard JATS XML (Journal Article Tag Suite eXtensible Markup Language). Full-text JATS XML and PDF will be provided. Therefore, the format for manuscripts will change. 

 

 Please use the attached template for your manuscript. For details, please check the attached file of Regulations for Submission. 

 In the case of a manuscript written in Korean, the list of references, titles and contents of tables/figures, and appendices must be written in English. 

When writing references, please include the DOI address for all documents with a DOI address.

From Vol 24, No. 1, references, tables, and figures should conform to the style of the American Psychological Association (APA).  Please refer to the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the APA.

1.Content

Topics and contents should be related to a theory of teaching English and its acquisition and practice in the classroom through using visual media such as movies, TV dramas, and games, multimedia such as web-based contents, mobile apps, and educational appliances, graphic novels and comics. Any article from adjacent studies such as linguistics or literature should contain the educational and pedagogical implications for language learning and teaching through the media mentioned above.

 

2. Files for Submission

. Manuscript: - Use Microsoft Word (ver. 2000 or higher version) / A4 paper

- The length of the manuscript should not exceed 15 pages (at least 11 pages).

- When exceeding this limit, 10,000KRW per extra page needs to be paid by the author.

. Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research and Copyright Transfer Agreement

. Similarity check report
