★STEM学会（韓国）から研究紀要投稿のお知らせ

We are pleased to invite you to submit a manuscript for consideration in the Journal of English Teaching through Movies and Media, issued on November 30, 2026, Vol. 27, No. 4.

 

Starting with Vol. 22, No. 2 (International issue), a new journal homepage has been launched to enhance global accessibility. The journal now follows the international JATS XML standard, offering full-text articles in both JATS XML and PDF formats. As a result, the manuscript format has been updated.

 

 Please use the attached template for your manuscript. For detailed guidelines, refer to the attached Regulations for Submission file.

 For manuscripts written in Korean, the list of references, titles and contents of tables/figures, and appendices must be written in English. 

When citing references, please include the DOI for all sources that have one.

  • Members: Pay the annual membership fee and notify STEM of payment via email.

  • Non-members: Pay both the admission fee and annual membership fee, then notify STEM of payment via email.

If you are preparing a manuscript, please let us know in advance if you plan to submit it.

1.Content

Topics and contents should be related to a theory of teaching English and its acquisition and practice in the classroom through using visual media such as movies, TV dramas, and games, multimedia such as web-based contents, mobile apps, and educational appliances, graphic novels and comics. Any article from adjacent studies such as linguistics or literature should contain the educational and pedagogical implications for language learning and teaching through the media mentioned above.

 

2. Files for Submission

 

  • Manuscript:

    • Use Microsoft Word (version 2000 or higher) on A4-sized paper.

    • The manuscript must be at least 11 pages and should not exceed 15 pages. 

    • If the page limit exceeds 15, an additional fee of 10,000 KRW per extra page will be charged.

  • Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research and Copyright Transfer Agreement

  • Similarity check report
